What is Spring in the Vines?
Spring in the Vines is a celebration of southern Tasmania’s wineries, seasonal food, and local produce. Over the long weekend, wineries across the region open their doors for tastings, new releases, live music, and family-friendly activities. You can create your own touring route and enjoy the best of the region at your own pace.

Why visit our farm?
For the first time ever, 2forty9 Wine Farm, Bear & Bird Wine Farm and Lost Pippen Cider are all coming together at one location! Spend the day exploring the vineyard and enjoying tastings and sales of fantastic wines and crisp cider.
To help you unwind, we’ve created a dedicated kids’ zone with basketball, table tennis, foosball, and arts & crafts every day, plus face painting on Saturday and Sunday (11:30 AM – 2:30 PM, $5 per child).
Enjoy wine, cider, a sausage sizzle, plus sweets, treats, and bakes -and if you’d prefer a hot drink or a cool drink, we’ve got you covered. Bring a blanket and feel free to bring your own picnic while you relax in our chilled, family-friendly setting overlooking the vines.

🍏 Cider: Refreshing cider from Lost Pippen
🌭 Sausage Sizzle: Daily 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM
🎨 Kids’ Zone: Basketball, table tennis, foosball, arts & crafts
🎭 Face Painting: Saturday & Sunday 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM ($5 per child)
🎶 Live Music: Sunday – Helen’s Idea (folk & blues)
Entry is FREE – no bookings required. Open 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM each day.
