Cooking Class with Whole Chicken: Roasting + Breaking Down a Whole Chicken

Are you intimidated by the idea of cooking or parting a whole chicken? Let us help you overcome that fear!

Welcome to the Cooking Whole Chicken event at True Cut Ranch! Join Melissa Falcone for a hands-on experience where you'll learn how to break down a whole chicken and roast a whole chicken to perfection. This in-person event will take place at the beautiful True Cut Ranch, where you'll get to work with nutrient-dense, poison-free, pasture-raised chicken.

You'll get to break down a whole chicken into wings, breast, thigh, leg, and frame (for broth) and pack it to take home to cook later (a whole chicken retails for $30-35 at True Cut Ranch). As a group we'll also roast a whole chicken and then share a light meal of chicken and seasonal vegetables.

As a farmer, Melissa Falcone often meets customers who choose only boneless, skinless chicken breast because they're not comfortable roasting a whole chicken.
