For one day only, remove and recycle your hard waste for free at the Brighton Council Waste Transfer Station and go into the draw to win a $150 Bunnings Lucky Door Prize. Bin to Win is by appointment only so please ensure you book your time slot to avoid disappointment. If you have not booked a time slot, you will be refused access to the Waste Transfer Station.

Hard-waste - Recycling - E-waste - Whitegoods - Batteries - Paints - Tyres - Metal - Mattresses
PLEASE NOTE
- This event is for Brighton municipality residents only.
- A maximum of 4 tyres and 1 mattress permitted per load.
- Please be prepared to unload your vehicle or trailer as directed by the staff and volunteers onsite, as per any visit to the Waste Transfer Station.
- Please be mindful of how you pack your load so that you can easily remove items according to the different types of waste as outlined above.
ABOUT THIS EVENT
Bin to Win is a partnership between Brighton Council and Loreto Community Housing to deliver an annual free waste disposal event.
Key goals are:
- Education around recycling and reuse of hard waste materials
- Reduce landfill and littering
- Develop waste reduction advocates in the community
- Increase knowledge and trust in local/national recycling and recovery operations
- Spark conversations about waste and circularity
