This is the first of a 4-part weekly series led by the Rev Sonia Dunbar exploring how our Christian faith can be informed and strengthened by our understanding of the diverse global context of faith. Embracing a global context does not mean diminishing our own faith and beliefs. Come and learn and discuss with other thoughtful and inquiring Christian minds.
Session One: The Danger of Theocracy: Patriotism, Nationalism, and the Realm of God
Session Two: Inspired by Faith: Proselytizing vs. Evangelism
Session Three: Spiritual Practices: Acculturation, Assimilation or Appropriation
Session Four: Reclaiming a Symbol: The Nazi Cross as an Interfaith Crisis
