Drawing Tea Leaves
Have a cup of tea, then draw the leaves!
Ever wonder what plants make up your tea? Curious about how to draw or botanical illustration?

In this short workshop, we will learn to draw tea leaves from freshly brewed, unrolled whole tea leaves.

You will learn:
How to see the shape of your tea leaves and create a composition

Basics on how to sketch plants with pencil or pen

How to draw your own tea leaf illustration with pen or colored pencils

What to bring:
A sketchbook

A soft pencil for sketching (HB or softer)

A large plastic eraser

A drawing pen (optional)

Colored pencils (optional) – I will have some you can borrow
