Join Art Master Rodney for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn quick speed painting techniques to bring miniatures to life!
Never painted a mini before? Perfect. Rodney will guide you step by step! Each participant will have access to a wide range of paints and supplies, making this the perfect workshop for total beginners or hobbyists looking to sharpen their skills.
Starting with wolves and bears to explore fur concepts, base coats, washes, and drybrushing highlights. From there, you’ll add detail with eyes, gums, and teeth, then finish your critter’s base with grass, rocks, twigs, or whatever inspires you. If time is on our side, the adventure continues with goblins, giving you a chance to practice skin, armor, and leather painting.
Every participant will go home with a couple of classic, lead-free pewter minis from the early ’90s (yes, actual vintage minis!). Come paint, hang out, and get creative with the GGC community!
