Join us at the UF/IFAS Plant Science Research & Education Unit in Citra, FL, for a half-day workshop on Updates on Organic Vegetable Production. This event will feature short, informative talks from UF researchers on topics like whitefly management, pest control with mulches, strategies for improving soil health and nutrient cycling and updates on organic production of vegetables. You will have the chance to visit field plots, participate in hands-on learning stations, and enjoy a complimentary lunch with fellow growers and professionals. Whether you are a grower, researcher, or just interested in organic practices, this event offers valuable insights and tools you can use.
Since this event will be outdoors at the pavilion and field plots, please wear comfortable shoes, bring a hat, and a water bottle. If you have any food allergies, please email dGF0aWFuYSAhIHNhbmNoZXogfCB1ZmwgISBlZHU= by September 22nd.
The registration fee is $5.00 (lunch included). Participants must register through Eventbrite by September 22nd. If the minimum attendance of 15 participants is not met by September 22nd, this event will be canceled. This event is limited to 50 participants. There will be no refunds for the registration fee.
