Fantastical Garden Party and Tiny Town Takeover

Celebrate H.G. Well’s birthday and the world of science fiction and fantasy. You are invited to dress in your fantastical outfit of choice and visit the tiny town of Monticello Illinois, the Monticello railway museum, train rides, and picnic at Allerton Park. Overall, this is an informal gathering, but a prize for the most elaborate dinner picnic set up at Allerton Park will be awarded at 4 pm. Cafe at the park is open until 5 pm. Check out the lodging available at Allerton Park too. There is no official cost to be on the park grounds, but donations would be greatly appreciated.
