Last chance to book! 🧶 Make a Crochet Toy (Amigurumi)
Fancy a few calm, creative hours learning how to make your own crocheted toy? We’ve got a few places left on this friendly half-day workshop, and we’d love to see it run.
Join crochet expert Lisa Donaldson to discover amigurumi, the joyful Japanese crochet technique used to make soft, characterful toys. In a relaxed, supportive setting, Lisa will guide you step by step through the process - from working in the round to shaping, stuffing and bringing your little creation to life.
This workshop is ideal if you’ve already had a go at crochet and want to build your confidence. You don’t need to be advanced, just comfortable holding a hook and working basic stitches. Lisa is brilliant at explaining things clearly and helping everyone feel at ease.
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with:
✔️ A handmade crochet toy to take home
✔️ New skills you can use again and again
✔️ A confidence boost and a real sense of achievement
Good to know:
• Best suited to people with some basic crochet experience
• Bring a crochet hook for chunky yarn (5mm or larger)
• Yarn, needles and scissors are all provided
If you’ve been thinking about booking this is your nudge.
We just need a few more bookings for this workshop to go ahead.
