Join us on October 19th for the Bold Park Open Day, a free day of activities for the whole family set in beautiful Bold Park!
From 10am til 2pm there will be live animals to meet up close, including reptiles, birds, and insects. We'll also have lots of different activities and take-home crafts for kids of all ages, including nature face-painting. Kings Park horticulturalists will be on hand to answer all your gardening queries, and a coffee van will be onsite for all your refreshment needs.
Throughout the day we'll have a series of guided walks and workshops taking place:
8.30 am Birdwatching guided walk (starts before the event)
10.00 am Event opening
10.15 am Wildflower guided walk
11.00 am Noongar Story Time
11.30 am Snugglepot & Cuddlepie family walk
12.30-2.00 pm Noongar Bush Medicine activity
We'll also have representatives from lots of our local community groups who care for our environment, so come learn what you can do to help out in your local bushland (or even in your own backyard).
