Our council is again participating in a World Scouting event known as Jamboree on the Air (JOTA). This event will take place on Saturday, October 18. This weekend in October is always set aside to allow Scouts of all ages and nationalities to connect and learn more about their counterparts in other countries, as well as those in other areas of their Scouting organization, through the use of ham radios. This year we will be adding Jamboree on the Internet where Scouts can communicate with other Scouts through messaging.
