Join local author, Mark Becker, as he discusses his book Soaring into Light. Free digital copies will be available.

Soaring into Light is about an easy way you can learn to manage your own consciousness more intentionally, so that your experience of being alive is more enjoyable -- filled with all that is the opposite of "dark and heavy." Soaring doesn't require you to believe in any god, healing spirits, magical powers, or other dimensions. It doesn't require you to meditate or chant, and you won't have to set aside time to practice. The only time and the only place you can learn to soar is right in the midst of whatever you're already doing.

Mark Becker has been a student at Yale Divinity School, a driver of 18-wheelers, and a moderately successful consultant who worked for many years to help organizations to improve their overall effectiveness. This un-published book is an improved and expanded version of his first book, Learning to Soar, Escaping Rational Captivity, which he self-published a few years ago, and which is still available at Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
