September Showdown – Beetleweight Build Day
Come join the Canterbury Combat Robots League for September Showdown!
This isn’t a full-on tournament, it’s a chill fight day where the day starts with teams bring their beetleweights to tinker, tune, test and ends with a bracket. Whether you’re putting the finishing touches on your first bot, upgrading a battle-hardened machine, or just curious about what combat robotics is all about, this is the perfect chance to get involved.
Throughout the day we’ll be working on bots, spinning up weapons, and running test matches. In the afternoon we’ll pull together a casual fight schedule so everyone can see their hard work in action.
Spectators are welcome, swing by to check out the builds, chat with the teams, and catch some live robot combat in a friendly, low-stakes setting. If a demo bot is free, you might even get a chance to drive one yourself!
Bring your bot, bring your tools, and join us for a day of building, testing, and a little friendly smashing.
