Public Lecture: Meditation

The Christchurch Diamond Way Buddhist Center is delighted to welcome you to join a public lecture on "Meditation" at our centre at 220 England Street. The lecture is presented by Juan Franco, a long-time student of Lama Ole Nydahl. At the end of the lecture, we will do a short guided meditation, and Juan will be available to answer your questions.

Diamond Way Buddhism Christchurch is part of an international network of more than 600 meditation centres in over 50 countries following the Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. The centres were founded and are directed by Lama Ole Nydahl according to the wishes of the 16th Karmapa.

Our centres consist of people and families working full-time jobs, incorporating Diamond Way Buddhism teachings and meditation into their daily lives. New people are always welcome for free guided meditation every Thursday at 8pm, and once a month we offer an Introduction talk into Buddhism.
