We're pleased to announce an open workshop for Christchurch secondary school principals, heads of school, DP's, AP's, housemasters, deans and anyone else involved in conducting student misconduct investigations.
This workshop challenges traditional interviewing approaches with students which often lead to inaccurate information and challenges from parents. Instead, you'll be introduced to the PEACE interviewing framework - an evidence-based interviewing method proven to give you the best possible chance of obtaining detailed, relevant, accurate information. It's effective, ethical and ensures your investigations align with natural justice principles.
What you can expect:
- Interactive presentation
- Case studies
- Practical scenarios
- Take-home notes

Tim was a great facilitator and his experience and background are invaluable." - Nicole Billante, Christ's College
"Since attending Tim’s workshop, I’ve found his ideas and advice invaluable - whether I’m leading a process myself or supporting staff who are carrying out investigations. His guidance has helped ensure our responses are thoughtful, fair, and consistent." - Stuart Hakeney, Lindisfarne
"Best PD I have had in years." - Andrea Gort, Middleton Grange School
