Step back in time with Rewind – a night dedicated to the sounds, selectors, and energy that defined the Christchurch Drum & Bass scene a decade ago. This special edition brings back some of the names who shaped the era, delivering a throwback to the raw, rolling, and high-energy sets that lit up dancefloors all over the city. Expect a night of nostalgia, heavy-hitting anthems, and timeless selections from the legends CHACHI, SUBVERT, ROSA and HENDI.
Chachi bio:
For 15 years, Chachi tore up dancefloors playing the full spectrum of Drum & Bass in clubs, while also becoming a household name through his Saturday night RDU radio show. His impeccable selection and skill earned him the title of Rumble in the Jungle champion in 2015. Throughout his career, Chachi has supported Andy C seven times, alongside a diverse roster including DJ Hype, Black Sun Empire, TC, Commix, Makoto, Turno, BCee, LSB, Annix, Noisia, and countless more. After stepping away from DJing during Covid, he’s back behind the decks. With a vast library of classics and a few new gems he couldn’t resist, expect nothing less than a full-spectrum set charged with signature Chachi energy.

A cornerstone of the Christchurch Drum & Bass scene for over 15 years, Subvert has carved out a reputation for tearing up dancefloors with his relentless mixing style and razor-sharp tune selection. From legendary events like the Summer/Winter Solstices, City Doofs, and infamous bush parties, to festival slots at Rhythm & Alps and Electric Avenue, Subvert’s journey has been fuelled by high-energy performances. He’s supported an impressive list of international heavyweights including Calyx & Teebee, A.M.C, Audio, Spectrasoul, Bad Company, Hybrid Minds, and S.P.Y. Always evolving and never disappointing, Subvert is guaranteed to deliver another unforgettable set.
