About Sam:
Samuel Harmony is a DJ and record collector who leans towards the gently euphoric. A founding member of Friendly Potential and now a partner (alongside Frank Booker) in Music First- he has spent the better part of a decade putting on some of the best parties in Tamaki Makaurau. Co-host of Plato’s Retreat on 95 bFM (4-7pm Saturdays) - his musical taste is a variated kaleidoscope with deep appreciation for all flavours and a love of dance floors as spaces for ecstatic communion. A fan of all that’s good in Boogie, New Wave, Disco, House, Post- punk, Afro, Modern Soul, AOR, & much much more - His DJ sets are tailored to fit the mood - and is comfortable playing smooth warm up sets and peak time thwackers.
