Chaos On Ice is a co-ed adult amateur ice hockey tournament being held at Alpine Ice in Christchurch. This unique event aims to unite recreational players from across New Zealand in a spirited yet competitive setting that promotes community, skill development, and the shared love of hockey — all with a cold beer at the end of the game.
6 co-ed teams playing 3 games each over the Labour Weekend will battle it out for supremacy, bragging rights and the first cold beer. Prizes for best goaltender, most goals and most assists.
Spectators welcome - gold coin entry, which will be donated to The Dale Harrop Foundation.

How to Register:
- Complete the Team Registration Form available by email,

- Registration deadline: September 8, 2025.
Team Eligibility:
- Teams of 10–14 players (including a goaltender).
- Co-ed format: Minimum 2 female players per team.
- Player age minimums:
• Male players: 35+ years old
• Female players: 30+ years old
- Teams may include a maximum of 2 former NZIHL players (must be at least 2 years retired).
- All players must agree to and abide by tournament rules.
- Teams must provide their own jerseys, preferably both light and dark.
