🌙 INVITATION: Barefoot, Wild & Real — A Monthly Women’s Storytelling Gathering
Kia ora whānau,
You are warmly invited to a new monthly gathering where women rise, speak, and stand in the full truth of who they are.
This is a space for women to be seen and be heard — in their rawness, their brilliance, their art, their poetry, their stories, their medicine.
A space for voices that have been quiet for too long, and for truths that refuse to stay small.
This is not a high-heels-and-lipstick event (although if that’s your jam- feel free!)
This is a barefoot, wild, real event — rooted in the earth, guided by spirit, and held with deep integrity.
Each month, women will take the stage to share their words, their creativity, their heartwork, and their lived experience.
All forms of expression are welcome: storytelling, spoken word, song, art, truth-telling, vulnerability, fire.
Only women and non-binary folks will grace the stage —
but all genders are invited to be witnesses, to hold space, to listen, and to honour the rising of women’s voices.

We believe Artemis Rising will bring something meaningful and impactful to the community — a place where authentic expression is honoured, where stories are shared, and where all genders are invited to support and celebrate women’s voices.
We have chosen this venue because of the two sisters who have created A Cup of Rest entirely from the ground up, from the design and décor to the daily running of the café. It has been a deeply personal journey, shaped with care and a strong desire to create a safe, welcoming space for community connection.
We hope you’ll support them as they support us.
