Heritage Open Days

We’re excited be taking part in Heritage Open Days 2025!

Heritage Open Days takes place every year in September. Free events are offered throughout the country at participating locations and attractions, all celebrating history and culture.

On Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September, come along to Astley Hall for two days of fantastic free activity on this year’s Open Days theme of Architecture. Enjoy:

•Special curator tours of Astley Hall and the grounds
•Arts and crafts activities in the walled garden and on the hall front lawn
•‘Bird Photography of the Year’ exhibition in the Coach House Gallery
•Discovering your history in the Family History Research Centre
•An ‘Astley Architects’ activity trail
