Hadrian's Wall Challenge

Challenge yourself to the ultimate 18-mile trek over the iconic Hadrian’s Wall. Whether you're an experienced hiker or a first-time adventurer, this event is your chance to step up, get active, and make a real difference. With every step, you'll be raising vital funds to support a cause that changes lives to those effected by homelessness.

Get your friends or colleagues together, lace up those boots, and prepare for an unforgettable day of fun, stunning views, and the satisfaction of knowing that you're walking for a purpose.

This is a linear walk, taking in some of the most spectacular sections of the Wall. We’ll cover 18 miles from Walltown to Chollerford, and it should take around eight and a half hours to complete.

Sign up for the event for just £25 per person, which includes:

· A fully qualified mountain guide for the entire walk who will ensure you don’t miss the best sights & photo opportunities!

· On-going fundraising support from our events team

We kindly ask each participant to raise a minimum of £100 to support people effected by homelessness and housing issues. Our Fundraising Team will provide you with lots of tips and advice to help boost your sponsorship along the way!

During registration, we'll need your contact details and any relevant medical information. Participants under 18 will require parental or guardian consent to join. By signing up for this challenge, you agree to be contacted by Shelter staff via email, SMS, phone, and post regarding event details.
