Tree Climb Alliance provides one-day training event is designed to provide arborists with essential knowledge and hands-on practice in aerial rescue techniques in accordance with ANSI Z133 safety standards. The course will review emergency preparedness, scene management, communication protocols, and proper use of personal protective equipment. Participants will engage in multiple simulated rescue scenarios, including rescuing an incapacitated climber from a tree, aerial lift rescue, and ground-to-climber coordination.
Emphasis will be placed on hazard assessment, safe climbing practices, and effective teamwork during emergency response. Instruction will combine classroom-style safety review with supervised field exercises, ensuring participants gain both the theoretical foundation and practical skills required for safe and efficient aerial rescues.
By the end of the training, attendees will be able to demonstrate competency in aerial rescue procedures, understand their roles within a rescue team, and be better prepared to respond to real-world emergencies on the job site.
