JO GIRDLESTONE + SPRING CHICKENS + floorspots to start@OrpingtonLiberalClub

The November First Tuesday Guest Night at OLC is a double bill featuring Jo Girdlestone & Spring Chickens.
We're delighted to welcome Jo back to OLC following her outstanding songwriters circle performance earlier in the year. She writes original songs, connected to her sense of personal roots, nature, & spirituality, to willow strain guitar accompaniments, with a fine singing voice & warm stage presence.
Spring Chickens are an accomplished SE London based trio comprising of John & Deirdre Hollingum plus long time pal Keith Ferris. Together they play a lively mix of original & traditional songs alongside music by their favourite artists. Their signature harmonies & varied instrumentation is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
We start the evening with floorspots followed by sets of around 45 min each from the guests with a mid-evening break at around 9.
If you'd like to perform, please come early and flag up your intentions on arrival to avoid disappointment. We're open to poets in addition to singers, musicians, and, of course, an audience.
There'll be PA available with mics & leads for plugin & play.
A hat collection in CASH goes to the guests, with a suggested minimum contribution of £6 per head. Please give more if you can afford it, they are first class act.
The CAMRA award-winning bar will be open from 6.15 pm. CARD payments only
