Lino printing for beginners

Design & carve your own lino stamps that you can print with again & again!

With my guidance you will learn how to create your own motifs, transfer them onto a lino block and learn the skills to carve out your design, creating you own printing block. You will then enjoy hand printing your own cards or original pieces of art ready to frame.

This relaxed and fun workshop uses traditional carving techniques combined with a modern version of soft lino that is suitable for beginners (ages 14+).

No previous experience is needed and you will leave with the know how to continue printing at home. I'll also share with you my simple tips for adding colour and other features to your single colour carved block.

There is only a small number of places available as I like to ensure that I can get around the group and help everyone.

All materials are provided including tea, coffee and homemade cake.

You will take home your carved printing block that you can print with again and again, any test prints on paper or fabric .
