From Bite to Barn: Rabies and Other Infectious Diseases in Horses

Sponsored by Zoetis and Iron Horse Veterinary Services, Dr. Miller will be hosting an educational event intended for horse owners of all varieties.

With the recent equine rabies case in Enterprise, AL, we have identified a need for discussion regarding infectious diseases, how they are spread and how to prevent them.

This discussion will include common statistics, vaccine recommendations from the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) for FL and AL, what to do if horses are bitten, and how to protect yourself and your family.

Dinner will be provided for 50 people. Giveaways and raffles will occur, with donations from Zoetis, Magnolia Veterinary Services, Iron Horse Veterinary Services and others.
