On August 12, 2025, a Terrier-Improved Malemute sounding rocket will launch from Wallops Island as part of the RockSat-X mission. The views from our resort along Chincoteague Bay are out of this world… literally! 🪐 From the campground, views of NASA Wallops Flight Facility’s Launch Pad are spectacular. Meet fellow campers at the bayfront promenade and enjoy some of the BEST seats of the rocket launch from NASA Wallops Flight Facility. 🚀🛰
