Truth and Reconciliation Day Community Event

Also referred to as 'Orange Shirt Day', this day is marked by wearing orange shirts as a symbol of remembrance and awareness of the Canadian Residential School System, reminding us that ‘Every Child Matters’.

Including opening cultural ceremonies featuring prayers, drumming, and dancing. The event also features food trucks, vendor tables from local community organizations, live music by a local Indigenous artist, face painting, bouncy castles for children, and much more.
