Join us on Aug 29 from 6-8:30pm at Land Studio and Cafe for an unforgettable evening celebrating the voices of local 2SLGBTQIA+ poets. This is more than just an open mic — it’s a space where our words can rise, be heard, and connect us.
Featuring Spillious (They/Them). Spillious is a Trans-feminine poetic creature from Vancouver. They have been performing spoken word for over a decade and have been featured in venues all over Canada and in the US.

Crafting/blackout poetry supplies will also be available for those who want to get creative.
This will be the first event hosted by We Are Unbound — a new, grassroots group that is dedicated to advancing equity, justice, liberation, and belonging for 2SLGBTQIA+ communities in the Fraser Valley, with a focus on the intersections of IBPOC and disabled identities and experiences. Through education, advocacy, and community-building initiatives, we work to break down barriers and reimagine inclusive futures where everyone can thrive with dignity, safety, and autonomy.
