The Indigenous Story of Chillicothe

Join Jo Lakota and Jimmy Lakota Edwards to learn about the indigenous history of our local area. What Native nations used to—and still—live here? Where are their descendants now? What historical events and current issues should we be aware of that are impacting these communities? Jimmy will also share some songs and dancing. Jo and Jimmy are of Walla Walla and Lakota descent, and also have Shawnee and Cherokee ancestors.
