A Celebration of Ghosts - Past, Present & Future
This isn't just about the Class of '75, it's about ALL of us. From Chillicothe Township High School to the halls of IVC, we're gather to honor the spirit of the Greg Ghosts and the decades of pride, memories and achievements that connect us all. Special invitation to Classes from 1970 to 1980, with confirmed guests from 1965, 1972, 1974, 1975, 1976 and 1978 already making plans to attend. Let's make this the biggest alumni gathering in Chillicothe history!
From the Halls of CTHS to the Legacy of IVC
Chillicothe Township High School, before becoming IVC in 1968, was a powerhouse of academics, athletics and school pride.
Illinois Valley Central High School carried that legacy forward, creating new traditions while honoring the old.
From legendary coaches like George Taylor, Jerry Rashid, Windy Childs, both Jim Thortons, Hugh Friday, Lou Pronga, Mike Themas and many more, to state-level athletic feats and academic excellence, our history runs deep.
Taylor Field became a symbol of Grey Ghost strength, where countless athletes left their hearts on the field.
Don't Miss It - Be Part of the History
Let's pack the park and show what is means to be part of the IVC family. Whether you graduated in the '50s, '60s, '70s, or beyond, or maybe didn't attend, but you kids did or you were a teacher in the district at one time .... this is YOUR chance to come back home, share your stories and celebrate the people who made high school unforgettable.
If you or anyone you know has memorabilia they would like to have on display during the even or an provide photographic memorabilia, please reach out to the committee at
