ABOUT YOUR FACILITATORS:
Coach Jess Colson is the owner and head instructor of NWS Fastpitch, a fastpitch softball training company whose mission is to train confident, skilled pitchers in Western Massachusetts and beyond.
Jess is a double graduate of Elms College - earning her bachelors in sport management in 2015 and her masters in business administration in 2018. Her proudest athletic accomplishment during her time at Elms came during her senior season when her team won the New England Collegiate Conference Championship in 2015 and earned an automatic bid the the NCAA DIII Tournament.
Since 2018, Coach Jess has been working with pitchers of all ages to achieve their pitching goals. She enjoys building relationships with students and families, and developing specialized training plans to help pitchers get to the next level.
Jess is a recipient of the 2022 BusinessWest 40 Under Forty award for her commitment to the Western Massachusetts community.

Coach Cheryl R. Condon is a professor in the Physical Education program and an advisor in the Coaching minor at Elms College. She is the former head coach of the Elms College softball program - a title she held for 36 years.
Over the years Condon led her softball program to over 470 wins, 5 NCAA appearances, 4 conference championships, and has had numerous female athletes get selected into All-Conference teams.
In 2008, Louise McCleary - Elms Athletic Director from 2002-2012 made the decision to rename the College's softball field in honor of Condon. Not long after the renaming of the softball field, Condon was inducted into the Blazer Hall of Fame in 2012.
Other accomplishments include honors outside of the Elms community, in '07 she earned Women of Distinction Award from The Girl Scouts of Pioneer Valley, and in '09 was inducted into Rockland High School Athletics Hall of Fame.
