Chico friends — we’re bringing something special to the big screen.
Come join us at the Pageant Theatre for the premiere of The Fuzzies, a twisted horror-comedy made right here in Chico with director Josh Funk, producer Dustin Vaught, and more than 40 Chico State students behind the scenes.
This isn’t your average scary movie. Think creepy puppets, stop-motion nightmares, and a good dose of dark humor. After every screening, stick around for a Q&A with the cast and crew — we’ll share stories about how this wild project came together right in our backyard.
About the film:
When a group of old friends reunite after the death of their childhood pal, they find themselves at her eerie estate — where the characters from her famous children’s TV show aren’t as sweet as they once seemed. Friendship, fame, and the monsters we leave behind all collide in this bizarre, funny, and chilling ride.
