Join MK Winterstein and Michele Richardson-Cross for our inaugural Death Cafe—a thoughtful gathering to enjoy cake, tea, and meaningful conversation about death and dying.
DeathCafe began in England in 2011 and has since been held in more than 100 countries worldwide. These gatherings are designed to be casual, inclusive, supportive, and free of pressure. They offer a safe, welcoming space for individuals to reflect, share perspectives, and engage in open, honest dialogue about death.
Death Cafes are not-for-profit and are not intended to provide bereavement support, grief counseling, medical advice, or mediumship services. Rather, they are simply groups of people coming together to discuss a topic that is often considered taboo. There is no set agenda, no hierarchy, and no specific objectives—only respectful conversation and shared exploration.
The purpose of a Death Cafe is to increase awareness, normalize conversations around death and dying, and help demystify these topics—ultimately supporting people in making the most of their finite lives.
We invite you to join us with an open heart and an open mind for an engaging and meaningful afternoon of discussion.
This is a free, in-person event.
