Tune-Up and Turnout: A Back-to-School Bike Ride

Start Location: Stone Temple Missionary Baptist Church – 3622 W Douglas Blvd

Distance: 8 miles (casual pace, family-friendly loop)

Free loaner bikes available: Capacity ~20; first come, first served

Join us for Tune-Up & Turnout, a family-friendly back-to-school bike ride celebrating mobility, community, and the start of a new school year! Whether you’re a seasoned rider or just getting started, all are welcome for this 8-mile loop through North Lawndale with a scenic stop at Humboldt Park Fieldhouse.

Families are especially encouraged to join—the ride is casual, safe, and designed for all ages to enjoy together.

Start: Stone Temple Missionary – 3622 W Douglas Blvd

• Arrive by 11:00am | Leave at 11:30am

Midpoint Stop: Humboldt Park Fieldhouse – 1440 N Humboldt Blvd

• Can’t make it to the start? Meet us at the park and cruise the rest of the way!
• Arrival time is estimated, so we recommend getting there by 12:15pm to ride back with us.

End: Return at Stone Temple by 1:00pm — just in time for Sundays on the Boulevard + Open Books' Lit Fest
