Join Catalyst artist Carlos Barberena and the Instituto Gráfico de Chicago for a print fair! Experience printmaking demonstrations, explore vendors and create your own unique print.
This all-ages, family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
The Instituto Gráfico de Chicago (IGC) founded in 2010 is a collective of Latinx and Latin American Printmakers who are also educators, studio artists, arts administrators and teaching artists who live and work in Chicago's Latinx communities. As grassroot printmakers, IGC builds community and continues the legacy of printmaking by creating international art exchanges and spaces for the public to learn about printmaking. IGC exhibits portfolios throughout the U.S. and Mexico and hold participatory workshops engaging Latinx communities in the Midwest.
