Suminagashi: Meditative Paper Marbling Workshop at Pilot Project Brewery

Ground into your creative practice and learn the art of Suminagashi: Meditative Paper Marbling at Pilot Project Brewery located in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood.

Translating to "floating" or "spilled" ink, Suminagashi is the ancient, meditative Japanese art of paper marbling. In this workshop, you'll use colorful inks and the flow of water to create one-of-a-kind marbled papers.

Inspired by designs in nature, and guided by Kelly Laughlin, founder of Odette Press, you'll connect to creativity through ink, breath, paper, and water, and leave with a collection of marbled coasters and marbled papers, perfect for a DIY holiday gift or artful additions to your living space.

This workshop is great for beginners, or anyone seeking a creative experience!

All tickets include all materials for a collection of marbled papers, plus your first beer (up to $8).
