Snails on a Bike presents: THE MODEL PLAY

Snails on a Bike is so excited to present the world premiere of THE MODEL PLAY by Madie Doppelt, directed by Casey Whisler!

In the world of modeling, to “fit in” is to contort: socially, physically, mentally. In 1987, six young professionals seem to have fitting in down to a science…or so they think. Unsupervised and unfiltered, these models confront growing up while breaking down. What will they do to stay in Vogue?

THE MODEL PLAY runs December 5th-December 21st, with performances Thursday-Sunday, and an industry night on Monday, December 8th.

All seats are general admission, we ask you to choose a price that feels right for you and your circumstances. All proceeds from this show go directly back to the performers, and help support the continued growth of Snails on a Bike. 

Snails on a Bike is a Chicago-based theatre collective specializing in performing plays in site-specific, found spaces. We are most excited about work that explores the intricacy of human relationships; all the messiness and beauty of what it means to love in our current social context.
