Changes are coming to Medicaid. President Donald Trump's recently-signed tax and spending bill is expected to slash hundreds of billions from the program and force millions from the rolls through work requirements, provider payment restrictions and more.
What does it all mean for Illinois' Medicaid program? Health News Illinois is assembling a panel of experts to learn more.
Panelists:
PARKING: Parking is available at 333 S Clinton Street, which is connected to the building. Metered street parking is available but limited, and SpotHero reservations are also an option in the surrounding area.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Connected to Union Station via an enclosed pedway at BMO - 320 South Canal - has direct access to the Metra train concourse and Amtrak trains. The LoopLink CTA bus lines are steps away from the Union Station Transit Center, which is directly north of the building.
Upon arrival at the building, you’ll find an elevator bank to the far left of the security desk that goes directly to the 2nd floor. Once you exit on the 2nd floor, the check-in area and event space will be visible.
Registration and networking begins at 8:30 a.m. The panel discussion begins at 9 a.m.
