At RISE, gather in sisterhood with lesbian elders and young Amazons. Join our growing community for daytime workshops, evening concerts & dances, and late-night campfires. Rest, make connections, learn new skills, let The Land hold you, and store up healing energy for the year ahead. For 2026, we’re excited to bring you a full festival program of thoughtful performances, workshops about lesbian cultural heritage, intergenerational community-building & dialogue, feminist changemaking and more, film screenings, shared meals, and the chance to unwind, share and grow together with sisters in the woods of Michigan. New in 2026, buy your ticket & add-on meal plan at the same time! Strega caters vegan, vegetarian or omnivore dinners.

WPI Festival/Music Camp for Women and Girls
WPI Presents: Festival On the Land Music Camp for Women & Girls. WPI is a ‘Women’s Performance Initiative’ aka (Women Play Instruments) for women and girls to experience expressing themselves via their voices and instruments as well as via several other modes of expression while on the land at ‘WWTLC’, i.e. art, dance, spoken word, acting, etc. Rehearsal & Jam workshops will be available for multiple performance groups: vocal, ukulele, acoustic instruments, orchestral & drum ensembles.
Groups will be available to women and girls who desire to perform and for those who just want to jam.
Performance artists/coaches will perform at the WPI Festival Final performances.
Important Note: The WPI Festival On The Land event is specifically designed for women and girls.
