Release and Restore: Somatic Experiencing

Somatic experiencing at &Rise includes gentle body awareness practices, breathing techniques, and movements that help clients release stress and distress and reconnect to a sense of relative safety. By attending we will help clients:

1. Reduce anxiety, distress, and tension stored in the body
2. Regain a sense of control after trauma
3. Build resilience for long-term recovery and help clients regulate in response to emotional distress and trauma cues and memories
4. Help clients avoid avoidance as avoidance can perpetuate trauma symptoms

We believe in strengthening the mind-body connection and helping clients move forward with confidence to create a foundation for lasting trauma recovery.

This event is being led by &Rise CEO Jennifer Solarte. Jennifer is an author, entrepreneur, trauma life coach, reiki master, somatic practitioner, and speaker who is passionate about helping women live their best lives after trauma and abuse. Jennifer has years of experience working with survivors and provides trauma-informed care to those she works with. Jennifer is a passionate advocate for all women and offers prevention education to help empower and educate women on healthy relationships, red flags, and healthy coping skills.
