A live panel and community conversation hosted by Project (De)Construction.
This in-person event features a panel of four mental health professionals, healthcare providers, and human services practitioners—including women, queer individuals, and BIPOC—who have all navigated complex relationships with religion. Whether they’ve deconstructed their beliefs, left organized religion, or embraced new spiritual paths, their stories reflect a wide range of lived experiences.
This space is for anyone questioning, redefining, or stepping away from religious institutions. It’s for those who have experienced harm, disconnection, or confusion around faith and are seeking a supportive, affirming environment to process and explore. Together, we’ll unpack how religion has shaped our identities, examine the impact of race, gender, and sexuality in spiritual life, and imagine new ways of finding meaning, connection, and spiritual safety.
All are welcome—whether you're spiritual, secular, religiously curious, or simply seeking a space to listen and reflect.
