Released exclusively as a free download on iTunes, Surf was downloaded over 618,000 times in its first week, with individual track downloads surpassing 10 million. The album's rich tapestry of sounds and uncredited contributions from artists like Erykah Badu, J. Cole, and Noname showcased the collective's commitment to musical exploration and community.
Now, a decade later, Nico Segal & The Social Experiment return to Metro Chicago to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of Surf. This celebratory performance promises to revisit the album's enduring tracks and highlight the evolution of a group that continues to push creative boundaries.
