About the event
Native Garden Info Session
Do you want to beautify the neighborhood and help us fight climate change and the loss of biodiversity? Plant a native garden with the support of the Ravenswood Neighbors Association!
Due to popularity of the program, there is a waitlist, and for the first time, we'll be offering info sessions! Please RSVP for one of the sessions here:
Priority for planting a garden in 2026 will be given to those who attend a session.

Our native garden initiative, started in 2017, has grown to 40 gardens throughout the neighborhood. These plants promote biodiversity, alleviate urban flooding, and beautify our community. RNA grows saplings from seed and, when ready, transplants the plants to a new garden. We provide technical assistance to help you design your ideal garden and coordinate volunteers to support you on planting day.
