DESCRIPTION
Nutrition is a critical area of healthcare, particularly in the management of patients requiring specialized nutritional interventions. There is a dire need for education that addresses the complexities of enteral and parenteral nutrition and the role of diet in disease management. Our conference fills this gap by providing in depth education on Nutrition Support, tailored specifically for healthcare professionals involved in the care of adult patients. Evolving research, disease complexity, and technological advancements in nutrition underscores this need.
The John F. Gilmore Symposium on Nutrition and Small Bowel Disorders will advance knowledge of healthcare professionals in the field of specialized nutrition support and increase awareness of the role of diet in disease management. We aim to equip attendees with the skills necessary to manage nutritional needs of patients with basic and complex gastrointestinal disorders through a blend of expert-led sessions and case studies. The goal is to improve patient care and outcomes.
