About the event

Healthcare and Immigration: Challenges and Solutions
Join us for a discussion on the intersection of healthcare and immigration.

About this Event

The health care landscape is complex, becoming even more so when considering the care and treatment of immigrants. The current chaos, legal challenges, economic uncertainty, funding cuts, deportation activities, and ongoing threats to all immigrants, especially Latinos, present significant obstacles to delivering health care services. Moreover, the loss of federal funding for preventive care and treatment not only endangers the health of immigrants but also jeopardizes the well-being of everyone.

This discussion will examine the socioeconomic and legal challenges that healthcare providers face as they work to deliver essential care to all individuals. The panelists will also outline necessary actions and policies to ensure that everyone, regardless of immigration status, can access the care and treatment they require.

Please join us for what promises to be an insightful and thorough discussion on the challenges and potential solutions for ensuring equitable health care for everyone, regardless of immigration status. The panelists are Dr. Melissa Simon and Dr. Rachel Rubin. The moderator is Dr. Marina Del Rios.
