About this Class: It’s time to get your hands messy! In our hands-on format, our Scuola Chef will prepare the signature dish for you to taste in class. You’ll dive right in to making the filled pasta yourself from scratch. Take your culinary creation with you at the end of class and enjoy your own hard work at home! You will enjoy antipasti while the chef demonstartes how to cook the dish before serving you up some to taste!
About this Dish: Transport yourself to the snowy mountains of northern Italy with this Milano-Cortina class! While ravioli is a more widely known filled pasta, casunzei (or casunziei) is a unique, half-moon-shaped pasta from Cortina d’Ampezzo in the Dolomite mountains. The filling changes from season to season based on local ingredients. For this winter staple, they’ll be filled with beets and ricotta. In this class, you’ll make your own pasta dough from scratch.
