Community Singing is a growing movement for all people, all voices. We sing songs that layer melodies through having different parts sung at once, rounds, call-and-echo songs, and more. Singing has always been a part of people coming together whether to march or to mourn, to commemorate or to celebrate, or to simply bring beauty and joy to what today can feel monotonous and mundane. Songleader Megan Eberhardt currently leads community singing workshops at the Old Town School of Folk Music and elsewhere around the city. Remembering how to be people together and seeding ways of real human culture is some of her life's work. She can't wait to sing with you!
