Azania Day is a vibrant celebration of culture, gratitude, and love. It's our way of giving thanks to our community for their continued support. In partnership with the Old Town School of Folk Music/Music Moves Chi and the Reva & David Logan Center of the Arts, we bring you a day filled with free drum and dance workshops rooted in Afro-diasporic traditions for all ages. This dynamic event features live percussionists, high-energy dance sessions, and local vendors. Whether you're a longtime fan of West African arts or a newcomer looking to explore, Azania Day promises to be a day full of connection and creativity.
Come for the rhythm, stay for the purpose—Azania Day is where culture meets community.
We come in peace!
