Advanced Irish Class (in-person) Wednesday PM - Fall 2025

This is an in-person advanced-level Irish language class for adults. It's also suitable for motivated teens who are comfortable working with adults.

This is the next level after Intermediate. It could be right for you if you’ve had at least 3 years of structured Irish study.

The goal of this class is to increase conversational fluency, aural comprehension, and reading ability, as well as build on grammar concepts. The majority of the class will be conducted through Irish, using English as necessary. Students will work at conversing with each other, reading aloud, and translating to English, as well as engaging with Irish media such as Raidió na Gaeltachta.

The class meets on Wednesday from 7:00PM – 9:30 PM (including a tea break) at the Irish American Heritage Center.

Tuition includes textbooks and materials.
