This month’s hash is in celebration of the birth of the mid-18th-century gardener and landscape architect, Lancelot “Capability” Brown. Gotta love that name. His nickname came from his habit of speaking of an estate’s “capabilities” for improvement under his hands as a landscaper as he rode on horseback surveying a residence. This is something we as hashers could also strive for, discovering areas in which we could improve ourselves. Be it enhancing our physical well-being, developing better hashing skills, arriving at the start in a timely fashion, or putting away more beers than last time, there is a lot of room for improvement of some kind.
The start is in Chiayi and will be posted at a latter date as the hare has two trails, one for a drier week and one for a wetter week prior to the day of the hash. Wherever we start, let’s meet at 1:30, so the hare can be off by 2.
As per usual, the run fee is $300 and includes access to some beer, soft drinks, and snacks at the finish.
